  • I like the idea that "God doesn't need us to defend Him." I think sometimes I see apologetics as a way of defending Him to myself. I seek to convince myself under the guise of convincing others. And while the former often works, I find myself writing off the latter group as fools (as they remain unconvinced), because in the end, words are less effective than actions. I need to spend more time convincing myself that others do see our witness (actions), even if it feels like a passive form of evangelism. Note to self!
