On children and age.... it is astonishing what impact can be made in a very short time on an individual. Children are so open, God speaks to them often so clearly as they are not afraid to "hear" God's voice or question their instincts. My own mother was brought up in a very abusive, atheistic home. My dear auntie that was passionately in love with Jesus was able, every once in awhile to take my mom to church or spend time with her. What she was able to impart, through love and prayer and very limited time, eventually brought my entire family into relationship with Jesus. Sometimes what is given on a Sunday is the only mustard seed needed. Again on age.... I find so much wisdom through those with age. Maybe it started with my Aunt, but when I get past the exterior of "know it all" or "set in their ways, thoughts"...it's extraordinary how I can learn from their life experiences. Sometimes it just takes my quieting of my spirit to hear God speak...young, old or when I put my hands in the soil in my garden.

Thank you for your thoughts and for hearing so many of your experiences in beloved Thailand and Laos.
