    If you're measuring value of work by how many people are effected, I think you need to factor in lots of variables, like do you impact your coworkers life (sharing the Gospel through lifestyle)? And then as far as people impacted, if people use the product you create, they're impacted. Not for the Kingdom, per se, but that sort of direct impact is only possible through Ministry, IMO, so as long as one does not work in that field, one has to deal with meeting other types of people's needs than spiritual. However, my feeling is that any job we work in is a Missions Field.

    Yes, I agree with all of your points and I do not mean to discredit, critique, or attack those whose missions field are their workplaces and find satisfaction in the impact of the products they create. I commend and am thankful those who are at peace with their calling in their careers, because I know what they have overcome.
