    John Bunyan was very similar in his steadfastness, and the most interesting aspect of his faith was he lived at a time when the debate of pre-destination was at its peak, so he didn't even have confirmation in his mind that he was saved, and yet he was all out in it to win it come hell or high water sold out for Christ.
